The two-door received new aerodynamic elements, reinforced wheel bearings and switchable traction control. At the same time, its design was updated, with new optics added. The engine remained the same: a 3.0 in-line “six” with 550 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, which the racing coupe shares with the serial “em-four”. Such a car costs 219 thousand euros, which is equivalent to 20 million rubles.

A month after the premiere of the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, the Germans showed an updated version of the coupe for the junior GT4 category. It is reported that the two-door has improved handling and increased reliability. In particular, the front splitter was replaced and its mount was revised, which made the front part of the body more convenient to maintain. At the same time, reinforced wheel bearings were installed on the rear axle, and new canard wings were installed in the front.

As for handling, the M4 GT4 now has traction control that can be switched off: this is done with a button on the steering wheel and helps improve lap times. The function was allegedly added at the request of several teams that compete in pre-reform sports cars. In terms of design, the GT4 Evo, although it repeats the older GT3 Evo, looks, of course, simpler and less aggressive.

The engine is an inline six-cylinder S58 with a maximum output of 550 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque (actual figures depend on the balance of performance). Traction to the rear wheels goes through a seven-speed ZF “robot” with two clutches and racing control software. Most of the components of the M4 GT4 Evo are shared with production cars, so it costs only 219,000 euros, and not 578 thousand, like the GT3.
