All the pros and cons of Chevrolet Orlando according to Cenyavto.com magazine

Chevrolet Orlando is an American-made compact 7-seater minivan that was officially sold in Russia from 2011 to 2015 and was very popular. Recently it became known that Orlando has returned to the Russian market in an updated form, at a price of 2.5 million rubles, and is ready to displace the Lada Largus here. True, he arrived as part of parallel imports. Let’s consider its main advantages and disadvantages.

pros

Capacity. Of course, the main advantage of the Orlando is its spaciousness, which is truly unique for such a compact car. Thanks to a well-thought-out interior layout and sliding seats, there are full 7 seats inside, and even third-row passengers have enough legroom and headroom. At the same time, after all the rows there is still sufficient volume of the luggage compartment.

Controllability. Another pleasant point is good handling and driving comfort. Light steering, precise steering, soft suspension, low noise levels for its class – Orlando behaves more like a car than a typical minivan. In urban environments this is very valuable.

Minuses

Spare parts. Unfortunately, the model also has certain disadvantages. In particular, owners will have to face a problem with spare parts – many parts will have to wait a long time for ordering, since the car is supplied to the country through parallel imports. However, their cost may be unreasonably high.

Build quality. Another disadvantage is that the build quality and fit of parts is not the best, especially compared to Asian competitors. On the Orlando there are noticeable problems with adjusting the gaps; sometimes there were squeaks in the interior due to low-quality materials.

Bottom line: The Orlando is one of the best deals on the budget minivan market, despite some shortcomings. (photo: Chevrolet)
