Crossovers and SUVs Haval, “premium” Tank, GAC and even domestic “Moskvich” appeared in the garages of Russian ministries and departments. Mainly cars with internal combustion engines are purchased, but, for example, the mayor’s office of Cheboksary purchased four electric sedans Evolute i-Pro at once. A list of cars that have registered in the garages of Russian government services was compiled by Motor.ru.

After the departure of European, Japanese and Korean automakers, “Chinese” began to appear in the garages of Russian ministries and departments. Thus, the fleet of the State Traffic Inspectorate was replenished with Haval F7 crossovers assembled in Tula. Another model, the H9 frame SUV, was purchased by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The operational units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in turn, moved to Haval Dargo X and Jolion.

Another regular participant in government procurement is the Tank 500. As Motor.ru found out, such vehicles are purchased by the FSO, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations to replace the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The bulk of “state SUVs” are equipped with a gasoline V6, but there are also hybrids.

Gasoline-electric models are of particular interest to the FSO, which, in addition to the Tanks and Auruses, has a PHEV version of the Voyah Dream minivan in its garage. But electric cars are still exotic, although the Evolute i-Pro and Moskvich 3e sometimes win tenders.

For example, the Cheboksary mayor’s office recently bought four electric sedans from Lipetsk, spending 10 million rubles on this. The Moscow mayor’s office and the Prosecutor General’s Office “liked” the Moskvich 3e crossovers, and the Chuvash Republic’s Service for Supporting the Activities of State Bodies opted for the Moskvich 6, which replaced the Toyota Camry XV70.

The National Guard and the Ministry of Emergency Situations have a Chery Arrizo 8, and the General Staff has a Hongqi H9. The FSB took what is called Exeed VX for testing, and the FSO took GAC GS8. But perhaps the most unusual Chinese car can be found in the fleet of the National Medical and Surgical Center named after N. I. Pirogov (part of the All-Russian Service for Disaster Medicine) – this is the GAC GN8.
