Despite the fact that the result cannot be called successful, a positive trend in the brand’s work can still be traced. Compared to the same period last year, this figure decreased by 2.4 times. At the same time, the company plans to launch production of a manual transmission, the production of which should help correct the financial situation.
In the period from January to September 2023, Sollers’ net loss amounted to 206.3 million rubles. At the same time, the sales loss decreased by 4.3 percent, reaching 419.8 million rubles, and the pre-tax loss decreased by 2.5 times, to 223.9 million rubles. At the same time, over the nine months of this year, the company’s revenue increased 6.6 times and amounted to 212.7 million rubles.
Recently, Sollers was approved for a loan for a project to produce a six-speed manual transmission for UAZ SUVs. The assembly of the unit, which should improve the company’s financial situation, is localized at the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant.
At the beginning of July, the Sollers company announced plans to establish car production at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant site. Then experts reported that investments in the project would amount to approximately three billion rubles.
