Interestingly, even the cost of spare parts for Chinese cars has increased noticeably. Reasons: growing costs for logistics and payments.
According to Tatyana Ovchinnikova, director of the international network of car service centers Fit Service, since the beginning of the year, prices for spare parts have increased by an average of 13 percent, although for some items the increase was up to 50 percent. Consumables for cars of popular brands have increased the least in price, and the greatest increase has been observed in such parts as air suspension and steering elements.
As Ovchinnikova notes, average prices for spare parts for Chinese cars have also increased noticeably. The dynamics of changes in prices for consumables for them is almost equal to the dynamics of growth in the cost of consumables for European, Korean or Japanese cars. At the same time, the cost of body parts has remained virtually unchanged.
Prices today are influenced by a number of factors. In addition to inflation and changes in exchange rates, there are logistics and problems with payment to foreign counterparties.
