“Autostat”: a rating of the most popular cars on the secondary market is presented
The most popular model on the Russian secondary market as of October 2023 was the LADA 2114 Samara-2 hatchback. The sales volume amounted to 10.45 thousand units. These data are provided by the analytical agency Autostat. The second position in the ranking is occupied by Ford Focus with a result of 10.2 thousand units. Third place goes to the Korean Kia Rio, which was chosen by 9.27 thousand Russians, followed by another representative of the Korean automobile industry, which is also traditionally popular in Russia – Hyundai Solaris (9.07 thousand units .). The same indicator was demonstrated by the VAZ model – Lada 2107.
The TOP 10 most popular cars also included such cars as Toyota Corolla (8.9 thousand), Lada 4×4 (8.72 thousand), Lada 2170 (8.54 thousand), Toyota Camry “(7.06 thousand) and “Lada 2190” with an indicator of 6.82 thousand copies. Only two models turned out to be “in the black” compared to the sales results for September – the “Seven” and the “Niva”. The rest show a decline in demand. In general, sales of used cars dropped compared to the first month of autumn (-4%), but at the same time, a year ago, sales volume was almost 12% lower compared to the figure achieved in October (photo: Ford; Lada).
