The crash test was carried out by specialists from the independent association ANCAP, who, in honor of the organization’s 30th anniversary, decided to test the old car. As a result of the tests, the Japanese four-door did not earn a single star from experts. Moreover, in the mid-90s of the last century, the sedan was considered an absolutely safe car.

During testing, experts recorded a high probability of a driver’s head injury as a result of hitting the steering wheel in a frontal collision. This is due to the fact that the Mitsubishi Magna does not have airbags. Additionally, sedan drivers are at high risk for pelvic and leg injuries.

For rear passengers, the Japanese four-door also poses a danger, since they can seriously injure the abdominal area due to incorrect operation of the seat belts. As a result of the crash test, the Mitsubishi Magna did not receive a single star from experts who recognized the sedan as a dangerous car to operate.

At the end of October, the Euro NCAP association conducted crash tests of three Chinese electric cars. All battery models that have demonstrated excellent results can be purchased in Russia.
