As Rossiyskaya Gazeta found out, official dealers of the Chinese brand received the first batch of updated Coolray crossovers – Maxim Vasiliev, sales director of Avilon Geely, told the publication about this. According to him, the cars were shipped to sellers and displayed in showrooms – they are already available for purchase, and soon it will be possible to take the car for a test drive. Recommended prices for Coolray in a new design and with a different engine start from 2,594,990 rubles.
The new Coolray is actually a deeply modernized crossover with a different “face”, a different interior and a four-cylinder engine that replaced the previous “turbo-three”. Prices for the model were announced a week ago: in the entry-level Comfort equipment level, it costs from 2,594,990 rubles without discounts, and the most expensive Exclusive version, which is distinguished by an exclusive lilac-pearl color, will cost 2,934,990 rubles.

On the road, this Coolray can be identified by its new spindle-shaped grille, bonnet scoops and illuminated line connecting the taillights.
In the cabin, the crossover now has a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel (monochrome in the basic Comfort configuration and color in other equipment levels) and a 12.3-inch multimedia system screen, as well as an audio system with six speakers. Cruise control, a light sensor, a rearview camera and rear parking sensors are standard.
The engine is also new: instead of the previous 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, the Coolray is equipped with a four-cylinder gasoline engine of the same volume, which in the specification for the Russian market develops 147 horsepower (in China – 181 horsepower). It is paired with a robotic gearbox and has only front-wheel drive.
Unlike the pre-restyling Coolray, which continues to be produced at the BelGee plant in Belarus under the name Belgee X50, the new model is supplied to Russia from China. Coolray Chinese assembly will be sold on the Russian market in parallel with the Belgee X50, which costs from 2,255,990 to 2,465,990 rubles without discounts.
