In the Sakhalin region they spent 303 million rubles on the purchase of road equipment
Russian regions are actively preparing for the winter period. This is especially true in cities with cold climates. As reported by Vostok.Today, 22 units of road equipment were purchased in the Sakhalin region. In monetary terms, this amounted to 303 million rubles. all funds were taken from the budget. All equipment has already been transferred to road enterprises.
As for the equipment itself, the purchase included different types of cars. Thus, five combined road vehicles, two flatbed trucks and small-scale mechanization equipment, three dump trucks, nine motor graders and three street sweepers were purchased. Vadim Dumansky, head of Sakhalinavtodor, shared data that since 2018, 140 units of new specialized equipment have been purchased. After accepting the vehicles, the driver of the motor grader at the Uglegorsk DRSU shared his impressions, emphasizing that these vehicles have many more options, which even include a pre-heater for the power unit. The cabin has air conditioning. All this provides additional comfort for the driver.
