The authors of the Hagerty channel organized another race in a straight line, in which they brought the current generations of sports cars from four different brands face to face. The main character of the race was the American Ford Mustang Dark Horse, whose rivals were the German BMW M2, the British Lotus Emira and the Japanese Toyota Supra. Thus, the race turned into virtually an international confrontation between four schools of automotive engineering and a battle of models from different manufacturers.

Equipped with a 5.0-liter V8, the new Dark Horse Ford Mustang weighs just over 1,800 kilograms with a 6-speed manual transmission. The coupe has 500 horsepower in its arsenal. The rival of the new product is the Dodge SRT Challenger Scat Pack Wide Body Shakedown Last Call.

Weighing almost two tons, it has a 485-horsepower 6.4-liter V8 coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The third US representative in the race was the Chevrolet Camaro SS – at 1718 kilograms it has 455 horsepower from a 6.2-liter V8 coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Europe and Japan are represented in the race by three models. The BMW M2 (about 1,700 kilograms) has a 450-horsepower 3.0-liter turbo engine, the Lotus Emira (less than one and a half tons) with a 400-horsepower compressor 3.5-liter V6 and the Toyota GR Supra (about 1,500 kilograms) with a 380-horsepower 3 .0-liter turbo engine – all with a 6-speed manual transmission. Naturally, all cars in the race are rear-wheel drive, which equalizes their capabilities.
