An exclusive modification called Mystique Allure, which was developed jointly with American supermodel Naomi Campbell, was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Photos of the unique crossover were published on his social network by the chief designer of the Bavarian brand, Domagoj Dukec.

BMW engineers chose the velvet Mystique Allure shade because purple is Naomi Campbell’s favorite color. Specialists used soft material to make most of the crossover’s exterior, as well as almost the entire interior, including seats, ceiling and door panels. In addition, the body and interior of the hybrid model were decorated with a lot of sparkles.

This is not the first time that the Bavarian brand has shown a car made of soft fabric. Back in 2008, engineers presented the Gina Light Visionary concept sports car, the frame of which was covered with durable fabric material. Thanks to hydraulics, the car could change the shape of the side rails, spoiler and bumpers.

At the end of March, BMW showed the concept of the Vision Neue Klasse X electric crossover. The new model should go into production next year.
