At the auto show taking place these days in Beijing, the premiere of a new model of the Mengshi brand, the M-Hunter, took place. The new product, vaguely reminiscent of the Brabus 900 Crawler, debuted as a concept, but a limited series of such cars will be released in the future. Mengshi promises “impressive ground clearance and record approach and departure angles,” but does not provide exact parameters.

From the official release it follows that the M-Hunter is driven by four electric motors – it is logical to assume that the four-motor power plant was borrowed from the M-Hero. At the latter, the total output of the units reaches 1088 horsepower. It is also stated that the M-Hunter is shod with huge off-road tires with pronounced tread for better traction.

The SUV has a tubular frame, which reduces curb weight, and carbon fiber is used in the finishing. A steel skid plate is installed on the front bumper, under which there is a winch with a traction force of up to 5.7 tons.

Mengshi believes that the M-Hunter could become one of the most expensive SUVs in the world. For comparison, the Brabus 900 Crawler, which was produced in 15 units, costs 945 thousand dollars, which is equivalent to 88 million rubles.

It is unlikely that the circulation of Mengshi M-Hunter will be much larger. The company expects to release a small batch of cars for collectors, true connoisseurs and influential people.

Meanwhile, another Mengshi model is on sale in Russia – the M-Hero, which went on sale earlier this year and received the nickname “Chinese Hummer” for its similar angular body design. An 816-horsepower hybrid SUV costs 16 million rubles.
