The Chinese crossover Geely Galaxy L7 was recently brought to Russia as part of “gray” imports. The car is little known to Russian buyers, but in this article we will look at its main advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages
Design. The first thing that immediately catches your eye is the truly stylish European design of the SUV with smooth body contours, harmonious proportions, chrome parts and truly high-quality assembly that is not inferior to popular brands. And in the interior decoration of the spacious cabin, only expensive materials are used – eco-leather, high-quality plastic, aluminum. As a result, inside the Galaxy the atmosphere of a real comfortable car is created, like that of recognized European or Japanese competitors, but at much more attractive prices.
Safety. Another important advantage of the new crossover is the highest level of passive and active safety for the driver and all passengers, which is extremely important during transportation. The car is equipped with a variety of airbags throughout the cabin, advanced driving assistants with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and other innovative technologies that increase safety.
Flaws
No radiator grille. Experts attribute the main disadvantages of the Galaxy L7 to the absence of the usual radiator grille in the final design of the model. Because of this, during intensive driving with high loads, the engine may overheat and there have already been such precedents.
Too expensive. But the cost of the new Geely product in Russia was initially announced at 3.8 million rubles for the basic version. On the one hand, this is a very attractive price for a hybrid crossover, but the fact is that it is little known in Russia, which means that many buyers will definitely take a closer look at its competitors from Europe and Japan.
