Back in 2019, Engler Automotive shocked the world with its unique vehicle: an ATV powered by the 5.2-liter V10 engine from the Audi R8. Now they’re upping the ante with an even more impressive project: a V12-powered quad bike.

In the video, company founder Victor Engler said that the Engler V12 was inspired by a customer who wanted something even more exclusive and crazy than the Engler Ten. The CEO decided to take on a crazy idea.

“In an era dominated by discussions about downsizing, fewer cylinders, downsizing engines and the rise of hybrid vehicles, we’ve chosen a different path,” Engler said, adding that his company strives to provide customers with “unique sound, power and madness.” that only a V12 can provide.”

Madness is the right word. The Engler V12 will weigh just 1,200 kg and the engine will produce an impressive 1,184 hp. (883 kW) and 1200 Nm of torque.

Engler has not yet revealed where it sources the V12 engine, but has developed its own transmission for it. The eight-speed dual-clutch micro ‘box weighs just 30kg, making it the world’s lightest gearbox capable of handling 1,184bhp, the automaker claims.

As of a month ago, the gearbox was still under development, but the company estimates that once it is ready, the Engler V12 will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 400 km/h .

The Engler V12 has a carbon fiber monocoque and all body parts are made from 3D printed carbon-graphite material. The 20-inch wheels are shod with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires and are made from forged magnesium.

A total of 20 examples of the Engler V12 will be built, but only 19 will be sold as Victor Engler plans to keep one for himself.
