Today, the FAW line on the Russian market consists of four models – three crossovers and one business class liftback. Sales of the oldest Chinese brand are growing rapidly, and therefore it is preparing to further expand its model range: next year the Bestune T55, T77, T99 and Bestune B70 will be joined by three more new items. What kind of cars these will be is still unknown. FAW is keeping details confidential.

From January to September this year, FAW sold 7,129 passenger cars in Russia – 3.2 times more than in the same period in 2022. The most popular has become the mid-size crossover Bestune T77, which is also the cheapest model with a price starting from 2,320,000 rubles. It was chosen by 2,784 people (39 percent of all sales). Most often, the T77 was taken in the “top” version of Prestige Plus.

The second place was taken by the Bestune B70 liftback with 1,974 units sold (27 percent), the third place was taken by the compact all-terrain vehicle Bestune T55. Their cost starts from 2,450,000 and 2,411,000 rubles, respectively. 10 percent of sales (782 units) were accounted for by the flagship Bestune T99, for which they are asking more than three million rubles, and another two percent – by the Bestune X40, which left the market, individual copies of which remained in warehouses.

By the end of the year, FAW wants to sell another 8-8.5 thousand cars. At the same time, it will expand its dealer network from 135 points to 150.

In addition to their own brand, FAW is present on the market under the Lada brand. In the summer, AvtoVAZ began producing the X-Cross 5 crossover, which is a Bestune T77 with other nameplates. In September, insiders reported serious disagreements between partners that threatened to stop production of the Russian-Chinese model, but AvtoVAZ denied this.
