The BMW Blog portal found out that the presentation of the new special version will take place in May. There will be minimal differences from last year’s BMW M3 CS: the coupe will repeat the sedan in terms of power plant and body kit features. The M4 CS is expected to be the fastest production BMW on the Nurburgring. Assembly will begin in July, the entire circulation (approximately up to 2000 pieces) will be assembled in about 12 months, that is, by June 2025.

Insiders believe that the BMW M4 CS will be a little simpler than the extreme version of the CSL: the rear seats will be retained, and instead of rear-wheel drive there will be all-wheel drive. The basis for the coupe will be the updated two-door Competition xDrive, so you can count on laser lights, adaptive matrix headlights and an active rear differential.

The six-cylinder 3.0-liter turbo engine will develop 550 horsepower and 650 Nm, the transmission is unchanged – an 8-speed automatic. It will be possible to increase engine performance by flashing the firmware, increasing the boost pressure, replacing the crankshaft and installing new bearings. Significant weight savings are unlikely to happen: the M3 CS sedan is 20 kilograms lighter than the original, so the coupe will be “super light” very conditionally.

All details about the BMW M4 CS will be known within two months. The special version will definitely not be cheap: for a sedan with the CS letter we had to overpay almost 50%, and there is no reason why BMW will reduce the margin. An M3 CS station wagon may appear this year, following the same recipe.
