Tinman Fabrications has extensively modified a used FJ Cruiser to make the SUV suitable for hauling bulk cargo. New Toyota Land Cruiser 70 was brought to Russia: the prices surprised

In Australia, Toyota offers factory trucks based on the aforementioned Hilux and Land Cruiser 70, but the owner wanted to add utility to the FJ Cruiser SUV. A 30-centimeter insert was added between the frame side members, a protective net and safety bar were installed behind the cab, and a wall was welded to the bow of the body with little effort. They didn’t even repaint the cabin itself!

The functionality of the body is questionable, because the sides are low, although they open in three directions. The question of technology remains open, but most likely the craftsmen retained the standard naturally aspirated 4.0-liter gasoline V6, which is combined with a 5-speed automatic transmission, hard-wired all-wheel drive and a reduction gear. The donor differs from the regular FJ Cruiser in its “mud” tires and leaf spring rear suspension.

The future of Land Cruiser: monocoque body, unification and electrification

Toyota itself is seriously thinking about expanding the Kruzak line. The Japanese auto giant plans to release two more models under the legendary name – with a monocoque body and electric power plants, to meet the needs of different focus groups.
