A budget sedan Kia Pegas appeared in Russia at a price of less than 1.5 million rubles
In Russia, a budget alternative to the popular Kia Rio model has appeared. We are talking about a car of the same brand – Kia Pegas 2023, which is based on the “Rio”. The South Korean sedan with an automatic transmission is valued at 1.49 million rubles on the Russian market, taking into account discounts under the trade-in program. Recall that the market debut of the model on the world market took place 6 years ago. The sedan is based on the same platform as the previous version of the Kia Rio.
The compact car is stretched in length by 4.3 meters with a distance between the rows of wheels of 2.57 meters. Imported under the parallel import scheme, the sedan, which was originally developed for China, has replenished the thinned segment of affordable cars in Russia. “KIA Pegasus” can now be found at major dealers in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The production of these sedans is localized at the facilities of an enterprise in China, created by KIA and Dongfeng. In the engine compartment there is a 100-horsepower 1.4-liter engine paired with a classic automatic transmission.
