An updated price list has appeared on the official website of the brand, which includes cars from both 2023 and 2024. “Last year’s” crossovers “Moskvich 3” are available at the old prices, and for the newest cars you will have to pay extra from 64 to 99 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration. Now a basic SUV with a manual transmission costs 1,655,000 rubles, that is, an increase of 4.1%.

In March, there was a rush of demand for Moskvichi 3 in Russia: sales soared by 200 percent after the plant offered significant discounts on crossovers. For now, dealers still have cars produced in 2023, and the price increase for Moskvich vehicles produced in 2024 is within the inflation range. The top version “Comfort” with a CVT added the most: you will have to overpay 99 thousand rubles.

The Moskvich 6 liftbacks, released in 2024, have not yet been priced in rubles. Dealers have enough cars produced in 2023, because interest in passenger cars is moderate: in the second ten days of March, the demand for Moskvich 3e electric cars doubled, for gasoline Moskvich 3 tripled, and the number of Moskvich 6 buyers increased by only 24 percent. In government procurement, liftbacks are also rare.

In the near future, Moskvich plans to switch to small-unit assembly of crossovers. Increasing the level of localization of production will reduce costs and curb price increases. The capital’s plant also plans to add another model to the range – Moskvich 5. Test production is already underway, and the start of sales is planned for the first half of 2024.
