The American portal CarScoops.com noticed that upon direct request, the search engine mainly returns wristwatches, not cars. It’s all about naming: Bugatti Tourbillon is associated in Internet algorithms with exclusive chronographs! The hypercar manufacturer itself has a hand in the confusion, because there is a rumor of a collaboration with the jewelry watchmaker Jacob & Co from Manhattan (USA).

The new Bugatti is named after the tourbillon: a mechanism that compensates for the influence of gravity on the accuracy of the watch. However, until last week, the hypercar manufacturer was associated with wristwatches only thanks to limited editions of chronographs, and search engines simply did not have time to change their minds.

In addition to the original Jacob & Co watches, created together with Bugatti, the Internet offers a whole galaxy of fakes from AliExpress at prices starting from $500. However, Americans admit that irrelevant search results on Google are unlikely to confuse the target audience of hypercar buyers. There is no doubt: despite the starting price of 3.8 million euros, demand will exceed supply.

Production of the Bugatti Tourbillon will begin only in 2026, but in the meantime exclusive Chiron derivatives, such as the Mistral spider and the Bolide track car, will continue to be produced in France.
