The largest KIA dealer in Chelyabinsk, Techno-Motors, refused the “Koreans”

A major dealer of the Korean brand KIA is ceasing to operate in its previous status – the Techno-Motors company has terminated its partnership with the manufacturer. The portal 74.ru talks about this. The Chelyabinsk company became a dealer of the Korean brand in 2008, and now has officially announced the cessation of sales of Korean foreign cars. Unlike its competitors, Techno-Motors, despite the departure of the KIA brand from the Russian market, until recently sold Korean models and was engaged in servicing them.

At the same time, KIA and Hyundai did not officially announce the cessation of their activities in the Russian Federation, but against the backdrop of sanctions, the sale of cars in the country remains prohibited. Car dealers who continued to sell cars from South Korea sold off their stock of cars or imported models under a “gray” scheme, which then became unprofitable due to an increase in recycling fee rates and a number of certain innovations. It is noted that the large Chelyabinsk dealer will continue to operate, but under the control of another organization. Meanwhile, other dealers will take care of servicing the cars (photo: KIA).
