The second stage of the Russian endurance racing series will take place in the Moscow region. There will be five stages in total this season – all of them will take place at the Moscow Raceway and Igora Drive circuits near St. Petersburg. Several new products await guests of the competition. Firstly, this is an addition to the list of Ligier JS 53 sports prototypes. Secondly, one of the participating teams will enter a Ferrari 488 Challenge for the race. Well, and thirdly, the new Raceone.pro Racing Academy team will bring the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR to the marathon.
This coming Saturday, the Moscow Raceway near Moscow will host the second stage of the Russian Endurance Series (REC). The leader of the overall standings after the first race is crew No. 111 (Egor Efrosin and Igor Mukhin, Black Thorm) on the fast and light French sports prototype Norma. And based on the results of the second stage, the champion of Moscow will be determined.

A total of twenty-three applications were submitted. But due to the Russian Circuit Racing Championship stage being held in Kazan on the same dates, not all participants will be able to go to the start line. However, fans can expect a lot of interesting things, including a changed track configuration with a chicane on the long straight. Of course, there will be new cars: Lamborghini Huracan, Porsche 911 GT3, Marussia GT, Radical SR3 RS and Audi R8 LMS GT4.

A special mention goes to the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” – the classic Chevrolet Corvette of crew No. 8 (Mikhail Mikhin and Vyacheslav Kalashnikov, Thug Ranch). This unique car is a highlight in any wealthy collector’s garage. Among all the declared marathon racing cars, it has the highest specific power – 502 horsepower per ton.

Other new entries this REC season include the Ferrari 488 Challenge from Spora GT and the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR from Raceone.pro Racing Academy. The preparation of the latter was carried out by the well-known Manthey Racing, the record-breaking team of the famous 24-hour Nürburgring marathon.
