At the Japan Mobility Show, Subaru showed the Sport Mobility concept. The electric coupe features a striking design that combines soft curves with sharp corners.

Although the design of the front end was an acquired taste, the dark roof, combined with black pillars and tinted windows, creates the feeling of a solid cap. Also eye-catching are the large wheels, contoured fenders and carbon elements with an unusual texture along the lower perimeter.

Nothing has been reported about technical specifications. All we know is that the Sport Mobility has all-wheel drive and the driver sits in the center. The company also said the concept has a “low seating position” as well as “excellent visibility” for an “enjoyable and relaxed driving experience.”

In addition to the coupe, Subaru demonstrated a flying car with vertical takeoff and landing. It is equipped with six closed blades, as well as a central part that resembles a car.

The company added that engineers from its aerospace and automotive divisions are currently working together to create a flying prototype.
