The brand has entered into a production cooperation agreement with SkyDrive. It assumes that the first aeromobiles will take to the air in the spring of next year. At the first stage, assembly and testing of flying cars will be established in the Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka. The technical characteristics of the future project have not yet been disclosed.

Together with Suzuki Motor Corporation, the development of aeromobiles will be carried out by engineers from SkyDrive, which specializes in creating cargo drones and various flying equipment.

She previously announced plans to create a flying car, as well as the development of an “ultra-modern mobile and environmentally friendly society.” Now the companies will work together as part of industrial cooperation.

The production of aeromobiles called SkyDrive will be launched under the subsidiary company Sky Works. Production of flying cars will begin in the spring of next year at the Suzuki plant in the Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka. The company does not disclose technical details of the future project.

In early February, Geely tested a flying car called the AE200 X01. They plan to use the electric car for intercity flights.
