As is the case with the products of the famous home goods company, the components of the tiny electric car are placed in several flat boxes. Mass sales of the model, which will cost about ten thousand euros, are planned for 2024.

Despite the concept, buyers are unlikely to be allowed to assemble the electric car themselves due to the fact that in this case the car will not be certified for public roads. At the same time, the developers follow the IKEA concept in terms of the simple and high-quality design of the model. In addition, this approach will reduce the cost of production, making Luvly O more accessible to buyers.

The maximum speed of the 450-kilogram electric vehicle will be 90 kilometers per hour. Without recharging, it will be able to travel about one hundred kilometers. Given its performance, the Luvly O does not need to be crash tested before being launched into the market. At the same time, the developers assure that the car will be safe thanks to a durable chassis made of composite materials.

In October last year, Renault released a tiny electric car, the Solo Concept, under the Mobilize sub-brand. The miniature car is intended for use in car sharing and taxi services.
