Four years after its prototype debut, the Cybertruck finally made its production debut at the Austin, Texas plant. Since its first premiere, the electric car has become faster: the top three-motor version takes only 2.6 seconds instead of 2.9 to accelerate from zero to 60 mph (97 km/h) – on par with the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The price turned out to be one and a half times higher than the original one and starts at $60,990, which is equal to 5.5 million in ruble terms.

The most powerful version of the Cybertruck is called the Cyberbeast. It is equipped with a three-motor power plant producing 845 horsepower and a battery of as yet unknown capacity, allowing it to travel up to 515 kilometers without recharging. The cost of such a pickup truck is $99,990, or 8.9 million rubles.

The “medium” version received two electric motors with a total power of 600 horsepower. The drive is also all-wheel drive, acceleration to 60 miles takes 4.1 seconds, and the range is slightly longer – 547 kilometers. This Cybertruck is priced at $79,990 (7.1 million rubles).

Finally, the “basic” version of the electric pickup reaches “hundreds” in 6.5 seconds and is equipped with the smallest battery, providing about 400 kilometers. It costs $60,990, but will only go on sale in 2025. For comparison, in 2019, Tesla CEO Elon Musk promised the Cybertruck a starting price of $39,900, but a year ago he warned that it would have to be raised due to global turmoil and accelerated inflation.

Other characteristics and details about equipment remain secret for now. At the event in Austin, 10 pickup trucks were presented that will go to the first customers – Tesla employees. Full production will start next year. The number of orders already exceeded two million in the summer, and the company will take years to fulfill them. Now accepting orders is closed: it was stopped right before the premiere.
