The authors of the Carwow channel organized another race in a straight line, in which one of the most powerful production cars with an internal combustion engine of our days took part – the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport hypercar. Its rivals were the BMW M4 coupe and the BMW M5 CS super sedan, but not in standard versions, but in significantly modernized ones, which made it possible to bring the German models approximately to the level of the French super coupe.
The exclusive Bugatti Chiron Super Sport hypercar, produced in 30 copies, is equipped with a 1600-horsepower 8.0-liter W16 engine developing 1600 Nm. This coupe weighs an impressive 1995 kilograms.
The hypercar would not have given the standard BMW M4 and BMW M5 CS a chance, but both cars have been seriously modified.
Under the hood of the coupe is a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine, the output of which has been increased from 510 horsepower and 650 Nm to 1000 horsepower and 1000 Nm, while in the sedan the power of the 4.4-liter V8 has increased from 625 horsepower and 750 Nm up to 1000 horsepower and 1200 Nm.
