The line of “charged” modifications of STI died for a long time, since Subaru chose a different course for the development of its cars – the most that the company can offer fans is the tS modification with special decor and settings, but without serious technical modifications. But if you really want to, then using parts from the Tuned by STI catalog you can make a car that will show what the new Subaru BRZ STI could become – if the factory decided to make it.

Subaru decided to celebrate the premiere of the new coupe on the Italian market with the release of a limited edition version of the BRZ Touge, named after the toga – a Japanese race in the format of fast and precise driving through winding mountain passes. Using accessories from the company catalog, it was possible to create a unique model, since all these parts had never been found in one car before.

The two-door received 18-inch OZ Racing Ultraleggera Race wheels in the canonical gold color, complemented by Touge logos and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. If someone needs an alternative, then gray wheels with Yokohama BluEarth Winter V905 tires are available. In the cabin, the only changes are branded floor mats and door sills with special version emblems.

The special version of the coupe in Blue Pearl received a small set of STI aerodynamic elements with a front splitter and rear spoiler, side skirts, dual Supersprint sports exhaust pipes with special decor and the Subaru BRZ Touge lettering and the Japanese spelling of “mountain pass”. There is no talk of engine modifications. The cost of the BRZ Touge will be 49,500 euros, which is more expensive than the base version, but not much for a limited-edition car – a total of 60 copies of the coupe will be made for the Italian market.
