The Hyundai car plant, by all indications, is ready to leave Russia. It is most likely that the enterprise will come under the control of NAMI, which has already revived the legendary Moskvich and can now bring back another forgotten Soviet brand. At the same time, the institute will definitely attract a foreign partner to create a new model. One option is the Indian company Tata, which has a range of affordable and high-quality cars. Thanks to her participation, the new crossover ZIS-3 “Strizh” 2024 can enter the Russian market, whose renderings have already been presented by the independent designer of the auto portal “naavtotrasse.ru”.

This car is based on the Tata Harrier platform, which in turn is based on the modernized Land Rover Discovery. But the Swift is not a complete copy of the Indian prototype – this is an important difference. The fact is that Tata owns Jaguar-Land Rover, which is why it does not have the opportunity to directly enter the Russian market. However, by providing US with their proven platform and modern engines, the Indians will minimize the risks of falling under sanctions. Russian engineers will develop a unique body for the Swift.

Technically, the presented crossover is in many ways identical to the original Tata Harrier. The ZIS-3 Strizh 2024 will be equipped with a 170-horsepower 2-liter turbodiesel from Stellantis, which is characterized by high efficiency and reliability. Most of the electronic equipment will be created for the Russian model, which will significantly increase the level of localization. This will keep the price around 2 million rubles, which is very attractive to buyers.

The Swift crossover has every chance of becoming popular both among young people due to its modern design, and among family car enthusiasts due to its comfort and affordable price. Competent marketing will help the new product take its rightful place in the Russian car market.
