The Chinese Cars portal claims that a modification with a clutch in the rear wheel drive will complement the range by the end of the summer. This Geely Atlas is a kind of exclusive: in two years of sales in the Middle Kingdom, the original Boyue L did not have all-wheel drive. According to dealer estimates, Russians will have to pay about 300,000 rubles for the version with four driven wheels.

Geely does not plan to reinvent the wheel: the Russian Atlas with all-wheel drive will have units familiar from the Tugella and Monjaro crossovers. This means that an 8-speed Aisin automatic will work in tandem with the 2.0-liter Volvo turbo engine. The engine output is not disclosed, but most likely the power will not exceed 200 horsepower.

New Geely Atlas: design above all The sedan and crossover of the new Geely Galaxy sub-brand are presented The Geely business sedan on the Monjaro platform turned out to be cheaper than expected

If dealers’ guesses are confirmed, then the all-wheel drive Geely Atlas will cost 3.5-3.8 million rubles. At the moment, the front-wheel drive version with a 7-speed “robot” will cost at least 3.2 million rubles. The simpler Geely Atlas Pro, even in the top configuration with all-wheel drive, costs 3.4 million rubles, that is, the reserve will remain.

In China, the all-wheel drive of the Geely Atlas is unnecessary, but the crossover managed to undergo a local update and increase in equipment. For Russia, the time for model upgrades has not yet come, but in our country there are plans to further expand the range with the Preface business sedan: it will go on sale before the end of the year.
