In the United States, a family of crossovers for the 2024 model year was shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The main innovation is the addition of a more utilitarian version of the X-Pro. This Kia Sorento is distinguished by anthracite five-spoke 17-inch wheels, “toothy” high-profile BF Goodrich tires, practical bumpers, reinforced roof rails, rich equipment and mandatory all-wheel drive.
External differences between the Kia Sorento X-Pro are in the touches: the easiest way to recognize other bumpers is by the absence of chrome inserts and a slightly modified shape; “off-road” crossovers are equipped with anti-chrome, roof rails with increased load capacity and non-standard wheels. It is the X-Pro version that is the most capable tractor, although the difference with other trim levels is small.

Otherwise, the North American versions are identical to the South Korean ones. After restyling, the crossover acquired a different appearance and interior, and the set of basic equipment was expanded. There are five trim levels available in the US, and the hybrid options have not been updated at all: their upgrade will have to wait until the 2025 model year.
In a month, Kia has updated three important models at once. Sales of modernized K5 business sedans and Carnival minivans have started in South Korea. All modifications were carried out according to the same patterns: now the Korean brand has a new corporate style.
