The authors of the YouTube channel Carwow, famous for its races in a straight line, staged another drag race in a nostalgic style. Instead of cutting-edge models, this time the bloggers raced two iconic cars from the 1990s and early 2000s in a straight line race – the rival of the Japanese sedan Toyota Chaser JZX100 was another four-door model from the Land of the Rising Sun – the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34. Both cars have been extensively modernized over the years.

The Chaser JZX100 has a 2.5-liter inline-6 engine that produced 276 horsepower and 377 pound-feet from the factory. Now the engine output has been increased to 500 forces and 678 Nm – power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The GT-R R34 has a 2.6-liter 6-cylinder engine with 155 horsepower and 186 Newton meters, but now the engine produces 550 horsepower and 746 Nm! Like the Chaser, it is rear-wheel drive and equipped with a manual transmission, which equalizes the capabilities of duelists.
