The premiere of the new generation of the BMW M2 model in the G87 body took place at the end of 2022 – the German studio AC Schnitzer spent the past year creating a proprietary program for refining the compact sports car. The BMW M2 from AC Schnitzer will make its public debut at the largest European tuning exhibition Essen Motor Show, but in the meantime the company has revealed details about its new project ACS2 Sport. The car received an aerodynamic body kit made of carbon fiber, as well as a sports exhaust.
The set of carbon parts includes a front bumper splitter, wing flaps, side skirts, a spoiler and a wing, as well as a diffuser in the rear bumper. It is stated that the elements increase downforce by 60 kilograms on the front axle and by 80 kilograms on the rear.
The exterior of the sports car is complemented by stickers and covers on the air intakes, as well as a set of 20-inch wheels – AC1 and AC4 wheels are offered in different colors.

Technical improvements to the BMW M2 so far only imply suspension tuning – sports springs that lower the ground clearance, or a set of adjustable AC Schnitzer RS suspension. A new engine management program is in development, which should increase the output of the 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbo engine, which produces 460 horsepower and 550 Nm in the factory version.
