A rare Borgward Isabella car was discovered in an abandoned barn in the United States. The exact date of its release is unknown, but this model was produced between 1954 and 1962.

Borgward was a well-known brand in the German market, where it competed with BMW and Mercedes-Benz, but over time it ceased to exist and became history. Nevertheless, cars of this brand are still valued among collectors, so this example is planned to be restored to factory condition.

This Borgward Isabella, painted black, was originally located in Europe and suffered a fire before being shipped to the USA with the body burned out. True, the new owner never got around to repairing the car, so the rare coupe stood in an old barn for almost 25 years.

Now the car is in a deplorable state: with a damaged body and rust everywhere. One headlight and rearview mirror are missing. The interior also requires serious restoration. However, the original naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine produces 75 hp. preserved and can be restored.
