Models of the premium Genesis brand are positioned as purely asphalt vehicles, and even the brand’s crossovers have never encroached on the status of conquerors of rough terrain. It is all the more surprising that the Genesis GV70 unexpectedly received an off-road modification, and it was created not by some third-party tuning studio, but by the automaker itself. And it seems that this version of the model will be available for purchase – at least, this is what the South Korean brand itself is hinting at.

On its pages on social networks, Genesis published pictures of the seriously modified GV70. The car received new wheels with off-road tires and, apparently, a lifted suspension. Additional light modules are located in the front bumper, and a “chandelier” is also installed on the roof.

There is also a living module at the top – a two-person tent with a folding ladder in a rigid body occupies the entire roof area, which allows you to go on a trip to nature. It is not reported what has changed in the cabin and what changes have been made to the technical part of the crossover.

The automaker does not report production prospects for the Genesis Camping Gear Black Edition, but the model description states that “the availability and compatibility of camping options varies depending on the region.” This means that the owners of the model will potentially be able to assemble such a crossover.
