The Chinese segment of the car market will be replenished by another brand – Soueast, whose cars will be officially presented here. Models of this brand will go on sale in Russia before the end of the first half of 2024. The portal auto.mail.ru shared this information, citing its sources in the automotive industry. The brand is currently being prepared to enter the market.
In particular, before the start of sales of Soueast cars, the Chinese company began forming a marketing and management team. The manufacturer began its activities in the mid-90s. The brand sells not only its own cars, but also Chery models. We are talking about compact electric cars of this brand. The Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors has become Soueast’s partner since 2006.
You can still find models of this brand on the Russian market, but for now they are imported by private sellers. Official dealers also supply them, but within the framework of so-called “gray” imports. The most popular is the Soueast DX8S crossover, which is a modified version of the Jetour X70S. It is offered for 2 million rubles. It has not yet been announced which cars will be officially presented on the Russian market.
