We are talking about a redesigned Tiggo 9 with a C-DM gasoline-electric power plant based on a 1.5 turbo engine. External differences boil down to a plug instead of a radiator grille and different wheel rims. Options are available with one or two electric motors, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The power reserve is 1100-1320 kilometers; without activating the internal combustion engine, the hybrid crossover travels 150-165 kilometers.
The harbinger of the Chery Amulet T9 was revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show, but the crossover will go into production under a different brand and with a different appearance. However, the interior of the “nines” will be unified, except that the hybrid will have special graphics, its own menu and other interface nuances.

In any case, the Chery Amulet T9 has a 1.5 turbo engine (156 horsepower) under the hood; the front axle can be rotated by a 218-horsepower electric motor, which is powered by a traction battery with a capacity of 34.4 kilowatt-hours. An option is a variant with an additional electric motor in the rear axle drive. The all-wheel drive version has a peak system output of 462 horsepower, a range of up to 1,100 kilometers, and fuel consumption does not exceed 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers. Acceleration from 0-100 for such a crossover will take only 4.26 seconds.
Models from the Chery Amulet line will enter the Chinese market in 2024. In addition to the T9 crossover, the A9 sedan has been announced: de facto, a hybrid Arrizo 8. There are no plans to supply Chinese “Amulets” to the Russian market yet, although in the 2010s we produced the original Chery Amulet based on the old Seat Toledo.
