At the Beijing Auto Show, which started today, Chery presented the iCar 03T, a new version of the iCar 03 crossover, which recently entered the Chinese market. She has an even more brutal appearance and “off-road” abilities improved due to various modifications. However, this option will not be exclusively all-wheel drive: like the regular 03, the 03T will be produced with one or two engines.
Chery iCar 03T received massive bumpers and new wheel arches that hide larger black rims in off-road tires. The hood has become more prominent, and an expeditionary trunk with a thin LED “chandelier” is visible on the roof.
Due to new body parts, the crossover has slightly grown in size, but the main change is the ground clearance increased to 200 millimeters (for the regular 03 it is 170 millimeters). The approach and departure angles are 28 and 31 degrees, respectively.

There is no mention of suspension upgrades. The standard 03 has McPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear.
There are also no changes in the engine range: the base 03T will receive one electric motor with a capacity of 184 horsepower (220 Nm of torque) and rear-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive version will be offered with two engines with a total output of 279 horsepower (385 Nm). This crossover accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.5 seconds and can travel 500 kilometers without recharging.
The prospects for the 03T are still unknown, but the standard 03 has a chance of appearing in Russia. It was reported that Chery is considering the possibility of launching sales of an electric car in the Russian Federation in 2025 under the Jaecoo brand. In China, the crossover costs 109.8 thousand yuan, or 1.4 million rubles.
