Thematic exhibition Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Germany became the place for the premiere of the California conceptual camper based on the new Volkswagen Multivan, which became the main novelty of the exhibition. Against its background, the Citroen Type Holidays almost got lost – a mobile home, which is made on the platform of a modern minivan, but stylized as a classic model of the French brand. The novelty debuted in the status of a prototype, but has every chance of becoming a production model.

The car is styled after the classic Type H vans that were produced from the late 1940s to the early 1980s. The retro look is created by a set of parts from Caselani, which specializes in the development and production of such tuning for various models of the French brand.

The camper is built on the basis of a minivan with two sliding doors – on the port side the door gives access to the kitchenette, which includes a sink, stove and refrigerator, and a folding table with front seats that rotate 180 degrees create a cozy dining area.
