The infotainment complexes of Geely crossovers will soon have support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and on the new Coolray, communication protocols with the iPhone will work in just a week or two, reports Quto.ru with reference to Autoreview. Over time, a similar interface will be added to Monjaro and Tugella. But the modernization of Belgee X50 and Atlas Pro is not planned.

So far, buyers of new Geely crossovers are forced to connect gadgets through the QDLink mobile application, and modern communication protocols between a smartphone and a media system are not provided. Initially, it was planned that the problem would be solved on the new Coolray, but due to software flaws, the update had to be postponed.

Probably, on new Geely products for Russia in 2024, a media system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be included as standard equipment. This means that there will be no inconvenience with the interface on the new Atlas, Preface L business sedan, Atlas Cool compact crossover and Okavango family three-row SUV.

The debut of the completely new Geely Atlas may take place in the coming weeks, because the Vehicle Type Approval certificate for the model has been received, and the first batch of crossovers has already reached Russian dealers. There is no threat of retirement for the “old” Atlas Pro: this car will continue to be produced at the BelGee plant under the Belgee brand: the probable index is X70.
