The press service of the brand shared the first photos of the interior of Wey Alpine, a five-meter car that will challenge the Toyota Alphard. The novelty will have a seven-seater saloon with separate multi-contour seats on the second row, and a two-screen panel without visors will be placed in front of the driver. At the start of sales, the minivan will be offered with a DHT twin-engine plug-in hybrid power plant.

Wey Alpine is technically close to Haval crossovers. At the heart of the minivan is an aluminum platform with a transverse engine, front-wheel drive and a five-lever rear. The petrol 1.5-liter turbo engine will develop 156 horsepower, the electric motor – 184 horsepower. The capacity of the traction battery will be 38 kilowatt-hours, and the cruising range without activating the internal combustion engine will be up to 200 kilometers.

The top configuration of the monocab will receive second-row seats of increased comfort: ottomans, acupressure, heating, ventilation and the “weightlessness function” are promised. Legroom for passengers in the middle row – up to 1.2 meters, the third row – up to 0.96 meters. The declared headroom is almost 0.9 meters! The list of options includes a stand-alone refrigerator and transforming chairs.

The length/width/height of the Wey Alpine is 5045/1960/1900 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 3085 mm. In terms of the design of the front of the cabin, the minivan is similar to the Haval Xiaolong Max, except that the panel does not have three, but two screens. And the power plant is probably unified with the Haval X-Dog.

All the details about the new minivan of the Great Wall concern should appear before the end of the summer, and in the autumn the novelty is expected on the Chinese market. The expected price is 300-400 thousand yuan (the equivalent of 3.8-5.0 million rubles), that is, the first single-volume Wey brand will not be cheap. Export prospects are questionable.
