After monitoring the price offers of official dealers, it became obvious that the cost of the popular Haval H5 SUV in Russia has almost halved compared to October. If back then they asked for a model from 5.3 million rubles, but now in car dealerships you can already find options at a price of about 2.941 million rubles. At least, such a more affordable price list is valid in one of the centers of the Primorsky Territory.
If we analyze the situation in other regions, then there is also a noticeable drop in the cost of a Chinese SUV. For example, one of the Moscow dealers has a Haval H5, for which they are already asking 4 million rubles. Let us remind you that this car is imported to Russia exclusively privately. It can be had with a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 218bhp. or with a turbodiesel with a displacement of 2 liters and output of 166 hp. In Russia they found a replacement for Matador tires from Continental
The well-known Russian tire brand Matador from the German concern Continental is being replaced by a completely new domestic brand – Torero. Its appearance is associated with the purchase of Russian assets of Continental by the investment holding S8 Capital and the subsequent consolidation of tire enterprises under Russian management.
The first models of innovative Torero tires have already rolled off the assembly line of the Kaluga plant, formerly owned by Continental, and are summer tires for passenger vehicles. Continuity with Matador guarantees the use of advanced production technologies and high-quality components. The 2024 line is represented by three basic models:
Torero MP47 – summer tires for cars and crossovers, providing comfort, high durability and excellent dynamic properties; Torero MP82 is a summer HT model for crossovers and SUVs with a universal tread pattern and increased service life; Torero MP72 is a multi-purpose off-road summer tire with a reinforced frame, high wear resistance and cut resistance.
As you can see, the Torero actually acquires the status of the successor to the Matador, remaining faithful to the high standards of quality and technology from Continental. And the start of sales of Torero tires is expected in the summer of 2024.
