According to Autocar India, the battery version will join the lineup in 2025. The electric crossover will receive a number of external differences from the gasoline version. In addition, new interior solutions are being prepared for the “green” car. Currently, specialists from the South Korean brand have begun testing electric vehicle prototypes on public roads.

Visually, the electric Creta EV will have a different front end design. In particular, the crossover will receive a blind radiator grille, as well as other lighting equipment. The model’s interior will feature many technological and multimedia solutions. In addition, the gear selector in the battery-powered Creta is expected to be placed on the steering column, similar to the Ioniq 5.

In addition to the electric version, Hyundai will also update the petrol Creta. The crossovers will have an appearance in the style of the new Solaris sedan with features of the Indian Exter. The engine range will be replenished with a new turbo engine with a capacity of 160 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed “robot”.

The facelifted Creta in petrol version will debut in the Indian market early next year. The electric crossover will be available to customers no earlier than 2025. Hyundai believes that the Creta EV will be the company’s first mass-produced electric vehicle.
