The current economic situation in the country is determined by a number of factors that have a direct impact on car owners. The shortage of spare parts for cars and the growing popularity of non-original analogues are fraught with a potential deterioration in the technical condition of citizens’ personal vehicles, say experts from the njcar.ru portal.
Due to the increase in the cost of spare parts, motorists are forced to postpone the necessary repairs of their vehicle. When further ignoring the breakdown becomes impossible, some resort to installing duplicate parts or used components. This practice often negatively affects the general condition of the car and driving safety. The desire to save on repairs will sooner or later result in additional material costs, experts warn.
The second prerequisite for the increase in breakdowns of citizens’ cars is the use of counterfeit motor oil. According to statistics from network service stations, in recent months the number of orders for engine repairs due to the use of poor-quality lubricants has increased by 10% compared to the same period last year.
