A presentation of a new off-road version of the JAC Hunter pickup took place in China.
Off-road vehicles are in demand in almost all countries. China is no exception in this regard. As it became known, the JAC Hunter 2024 pickup truck premiered here in an improved version regarding cross-country ability and maneuverability. In addition, it received some upgrades in appearance.
As for its exterior, a pronounced brutal character can be seen here. Ahead, a massive radiator grille and a bumper reinforced at the bottom catch your eye. The pickup truck is equipped with powerful 17-inch wheels shod with off-road tires. Changes have been made to the suspension settings, which significantly improved the vehicle’s cross-country ability. A winch, underbody protection, snorkel, etc. also appeared in its arsenal. Under the hood of the pickup truck there is a two-liter turbocharged engine whose performance reaches 170 horsepower. It is combined with an 8-speed hydromechanical automatic transmission and Part Time all-wheel drive with a rigidly connected rear axle, as well as a reduction gear in the transfer case. It is reported that there is new multimedia and an improved version of the “tidy”.
