According to Autocar, citing Jaguar CEO Adrian Mardell, the automaker intends to revise its lineup and eliminate the entry-level electric SUV I-Pace from it. He explained that in the future, the brand’s electric vehicles will move to the Jaguar Electrified Architecture (JEA) platform specially developed for them. I-Pace is intended to be a link between the current series and upcoming premieres, after which it will be discontinued. This will happen by 2025.

The I-Pace has been in production since 2018 and hasn’t changed much in five years. The crossover is still equipped with a 400 horsepower twin-engine setup and a 90 kilowatt-hour battery that allows it to travel up to 470 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. The most notable update came at the beginning of 2023, when the I-Pace received a slight facelift and expanded equipment list.

Until the spring of last year, the I-Pace was also sold in Russia, but after the start of the CBO, Jaguar suspended operations in the country and stopped deliveries of cars. And this summer, a ban was introduced on the supply of electric vehicles (as well as hybrids and cars with internal combustion engines with a volume of more than 1.9 liters) from Europe to Russia.

Cars of Western brands that have curtailed their business in the Russian market are supplied under the parallel import scheme. On the classifieds, you can find ads for the sale of I-Pace without a run in Russia for 7.35 million rubles, as well as several offers for the supply of this model to order.
