Italian trade unions have achieved a reduction in working hours and a simultaneous increase in wages, which is why this deal is already being called historic. The agreement provides for an increase in premiums by 50 percent and the payment of a one-time bonus in the amount of 1,000 euros, which corresponds to 100 thousand rubles.

Lamborghini is the first European automaker to introduce a four-day workweek for production employees. This became possible thanks to the efforts of the Italian trade union organizations FIOM and FIM-CISL. The deal has already been called historic, since no one has yet managed to achieve a significant reduction in working hours while simultaneously increasing wages. As a result of the agreement, Lamborghini employees will receive a one-time payment of 1,000 euros, and their bonuses will increase by 50 percent.

Well, the new schedule will allow you to relax more, find time for family or hobbies. In general, it will have a positive effect on motivation. Employees working on a rotating two-shift schedule will alternate between five days and four days, giving them 22 additional days off per year. For those who have a three-shift schedule with night shifts, a five-day workweek will be followed by two four-day ones, and the number of days off will increase by 31.

Today Lamborghini can afford such experiments. In the nine months of 2023, the company earned 618 million euros (income before taxes and interest), more than in the entire last year, and turnover exceeded two billion for the first time in history. Over three quarters, 7,744 cars were sold, with the main share divided between two models: Urus and Huracan. Geographically, Lambs sold best in the EMEA region, which is Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Also in the top three were the USA and APAC.
