The automaker had previously been represented in the country, but then the representative office was supervised by the Russian office of the brand. Now Nissan has decided to reopen the Kazakh division, but now it will be transferred to the branch that is responsible for the development of the brand in the Middle East.

The Kazakh division will open under the name Orbis Auto. As representatives of the press service told the Quto.ru portal, after the resumption of sales, the company intends to significantly expand the model range. Thus, cars from the home Japanese market, as well as from Europe and the USA will be available in Kazakhstan.

For now, company representatives are agreeing on the final list of models, after which they will begin certifying the models. In addition, the Japanese automaker plans not only to expand its dealer network, but also to open its own spare parts warehouse.

Earlier it became known that the updated Hyundai Sonata entered the Kazakh market. The restyled sedan in its basic configuration was valued at 2.9 million rubles; it is expected that it may also appear in Russia under a parallel import scheme.
