Previously, Hyundai Manufacturing Rus assembled various models of the Hyundai and Kia brands. Recently, the site began producing cars under the Solaris brand, the model range of which is copies of cars from South Korean brands. Now the management of the car plant has changed production plans. In the near future, a limited batch of Solaris KRS (Kia Rio sedan) and Solaris KRX (Kia Rio X) will roll off the production lines. But experts refused the Creta crossover.
The Creta crossover in the Solaris line is presented under the name HC. They decided to suspend the assembly of the SUV, which is popular among Russian buyers, at least until the fall of this year. The basis of production will now be Solaris HS, or Hyundai Solaris. Currently, the company’s engineers produce more than 140 cars per shift. In the first three months of this year, the car plant produced about three thousand Solaris.

All redesigned Solaris models are exactly the same as Hyundai cars, including the emblem. At the same time, on cars produced in St. Petersburg, the logo does not stand out so much on the body due to the lack of chrome.
