The American company, best known for the crazy Tank SUVs based on the Jeep Wrangler and the extravagant Beast supercar based on the Chevrolet Corvette, has announced its new project. As if to spite the Russian brand Aurus, which has a minibus called “Arsenal,” the overseas brand is preparing its own Arsenal, which will be an SUV with an armored body. But it will be possible to order a more budget version without protection from bullets and explosions.
The Americans, as usual, immodestly position the new product as “the most advanced luxury armored vehicle”, which will be equipped with “the most advanced armor technology currently available on the market.” It is stated that instead of traditional ballistic steel, Rezvani Arsenal plans to use “innovative composite material” that combines lightness and B6 protection level.

Judging by the teasers, the SUV will receive a shocking appearance in the style of other models of the brand, but at the same time, the creators of the armored car promise that it will be more elegant than other similar projects, and in addition, it will not externally betray its armored essence. However, you can’t tell from the teasers. From the technical characteristics, all that is known so far is that under the hood of Arsenal there will be a V8 gasoline engine with a capacity of 420 horsepower.

This means that the new Rezvani model will be based on the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon, since they all offer a 6.2-liter V8 engine of the specified power. In the future, a more powerful version of the Arsenal with a 675-horsepower engine will appear. The Rezvani Arsenal will cost from $225,000, and the armored version of the SUV will be even more expensive. The company has already opened pre-orders – deliveries of cars to customers are planned to begin in the summer of 2024.
